Soda blasting is an effective, environmentally friendly way of cleaning difficult-to-remove surface contaminants such as mold, grease, grime, smoke damage, graffiti, paint or soil. Unlike the similar method of sand blasting, soda blasting will not damage the underlying material. The sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) based cleaning medium expolodes upon contact with the substrate and explodes into finer, sharper pieces. This is how the surface contaminant is removed without generating sparks, heat or abading the surface being cleaned. Using this process virtually any material can be cleaned without damage.
